Help with Food and Welfare Advice in Oldham during the Covid-19 Crisis

Because the period of self isolation is continuing the central
Oldham Foodbank has informed us that from now on food will only be delivered to clients rather than collected from the local hubs.

All other food banks are therefore closed and will not be open to either distribute or take in food donations until the self isolation period has ended.

The main hub now operates out of Oldham Sports Centre
at the top of Manchester Road.
Clients requiring food now need to contact the main hub number

0161 770 7007

or the Job Centre or Citizens Advice for help

New Coronavirus Assessment Hub

The Integrated Care Centre, on New Radcliffe Street, will now care 24/7 for patients with potential Coronavirus symptoms (it is now closed as a walk-in centre).
The centre will provide advice over the phone, video calls
and face-to-face consultations or GP home visits when appropriate.

The service is only for people who have Coronavirus symptoms and are unwell,
but do not need emergency
 care.
Access to the service is via your GP or after contacting NHS 111.
When contacting 111 go online first to
 https://111.nhs.uk/
GP practices are open and can be contacted over the phone or online.

A new digital Mental Health service and support has been launched across Greater Manchester which includes SHOUT a confidential 24/7 text service that offers advice on a range of issues. Text GMOldham to 85258
